About Arizona Veterans Fly Fishing
Enjoying the Outdoors with Fellow Veterans since 2013.
It’s simple: we go fishing together. If you need to learn to tie flies, build a rod or cast a fly, we’ll show you how. Most of the people guiding you through this fly-fishing adventure are volunteers who have served in various branches of the military. So, we are not therapists; we are your peers.
We believe that the camaraderie that we had in the military can be found again through learning new skills and in sharing an experience together.
Our Mission
Arizona Veterans Fly Fishing is a not-for-profit organization that is designed to help facilitate the physical and emotional well-being of disabled veterans through fly fishing and related activities.
Our Vision
The vision for Arizona Veterans Fly Fishing is to conduct fly fishing outings, fly tying, casting, rod building Instruction and educational activities in a safe and comfortable environment for disabled veterans. And to conduct these activities in a manner that is both relaxing, enjoyable and free of charge for disabled veterans. This vision will be sustained through grants, donations, fund-raising activities and volunteer support.
